Startups need to rapidly gain distribution before the tech incumbents (bigger tech companies) build their technology. It’s a race. And Go-to-Market Operations is a key part in being able to set the proper foundation and grow quickly.

We help leading Go-to-Market organizations build their growth models, and implement the right GTM Operations infrastructure to execute on their plans. As a GTM Engineer, you will be the main GTM systems implementation expert on client engagements as you collaborate with cross-functional teams (both internally and externally) to deliver best-in-class GTM processes, technology, & reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of soft skills, technical skills, and a self-starter mentality to drive GTM Operations success both within our organization and with our clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Systems Architecture Design & Implementation: Holistic design and implementation of the best systems for startups at each stage of growth. 
  2. Stay ahead of the AI curve: Stay on the cutting edge of AI GTM technology, and incorporate it both internally and externally with our clients. 
  3. MAP/CRM Configuration: Customize MAPs & CRMs (usually Salesforce/Hubspot/Marketo) by configuring objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, forms, campaigns, and other platform features to support various business processes.
  4. User Management: Create and manage user profiles, roles, permissions, and access settings to ensure data security and appropriate access levels.
  5. Data Management: Import, export, and maintain data within MAPs/CRMs  (usually Salesforce/Hubspot/Marketo), ensuring data integrity and cleanliness through regular data audits and cleansing activities.
  6. Reporting and Dashboards: Create and manage reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales, marketing, and service performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  7. Process Automation: Build and maintain automated processes using workflows, flows, smart campaigns, etc. to streamline business operations and improve efficiency.
  8. Third-Party Integrations & Full Tech Stack Management: Integrate Salesforce/Hubspot/Marketo with external applications and tools to enhance productivity and solve specific business challenges.
  9. System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the internal and external teams to resolve technical challenges.
  10. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.

Hard Skills: 

  • MAP and/or CRM Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience administrating HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce. Proficiency in MAP/CRM configuration, data management, and process automation.
  • Certification: Hubspot, Marketo, or Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
  • Experience implementing & managing MAP/CRM integration tools (Lead Routing, Scheduling, Sales Engagement, Events/Webinars, etc.)
  • Experience managing and optimizing Campaign Operations processes (email templates, audience segmentations, list import processes, nurture programs, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing GTM performance data and presenting insights
  • Google Sheets / Excel power user
